Children's Health Express, a mobile SBHC program in Austin
ABSTRACT SUMMARY
Come visit the children’s health express mobile SBHC clinic of Dell Children's Medical Center of Central Texas. Founded in 1995, the mobile health team delivers primary and preventive pediatric health care at several schools across the Austin Independent School District. During the tour of the mobile clinic, you will interact with health center staff and program administrators. Participants will receive a comprehensive overview of the medical services offered at the mobile clinic, learn about program’s partnership with the Austin school district, and find out how the program has remained financially sustainable.
