Well Child Visit: Opportunity for Oral Health Visual Exams and Risk Assessments, Fluoride Varnish Application, and Effective Referrals
ABSTRACT SUMMARY
SBHC primary care providers are ideally positioned to provide preventive oral health services during well child visits with at-risk vulnerable children and youth. Training participant will acquire the skill and ability to conduct pediatric oral health visual examinations and risk assessments, apply fluoride varnish, and implement effective referral protocols.
