This interactive workshop for SBHC primary care providers will cover sports medicine for the adolescent athlete including pre-participation sports physical exam, cardiac assessment, sports injury assessment and diagnosis of the upper and lower extremities, orthopedic exam, treatment of common joint injuries, concussions, safe usage of supplements, risk reduction for the athlete, and safe return to play. Participants will have the opportunity to practice exam techniques.
