Comprehensive School-Based Health Care via Telemedicine: Is It Possible??
ABSTRACT SUMMARY
Telemedicine is a rapidly expanding field in healthcare and is being applied to school-based health care in a variety of ways. This convening of representatives from school-based telemedicine programs will examine the multiple models of delivering preventive, acute, chronic, and /or specialty care, oral health, and behavioral health as stand-alone and/or comprehensive programs. Participants will discuss obstacles and success of these models, and the potential for developing a common set of best practices/ guidelines. (Attendees must be affiliated with an existing SBH telemedicine program. Not open to vendors or for profits businesses. Limited to 30 participants).
