A case based presentation will be used to introduce several dermatologic conditions seen in the teen/adolescent population. Skin disorders are commonly seen in this age group and providers should have familiarity with those for management and possible referral.
Audience participation will be encouraged.
ABSTRACT DESCRIPTION
Providers of care to teens often encounter dermatologic disorders. Common and some unusually encountered conditions will be presented. A case based presentation will be used. Some disorders include acne, sun related dermatoses, atopic dermatitis, and a variety of skin infections.
