SBHC providers frequently encounter students experiencing adverse and possibly allergic reactions to foods, antibiotics, other medications, insect stings, vaccines, and other environmental toxins. Recognition of symptoms, history, assessment, diagnostic workup, and treatment options will be reviewed and discussed.
